I was just driving into the city for my regularly scheduled haircut and of course a Starbucks pit-stop.
On the way I saw a sign… Dreams Discovery Centre.
It looked like a child daycare place but the message resonated so much with me.
Imagine that not only could we go back to that place ourselves to re-discover our own big dreams but that we were actually shown how to bring them into a lived reality?
Many say all it takes is hard work.
I’m sure you’ve seen many people around who’re working hard but they’re not necessarily living a dream life so to say, or for some reason the dream just ends up being an arm’s reach away anyway.
Have you ever wondered why does that happen?
I have…
And I spent majority of my life at this point studying the subject.
One major reason? Is the attachment you may have to that dream.
The view and belief that only once I get to that place will I finally be free to enjoy the fruits of my labour.
While on the road we keep kicking ourselves, not allowing play or enjoyment, keeping life serious like it’s something to achieve rather than allow it to be lived… feeling not enough until we get there.
And I get it, that was me, too.
It has been an innocent conditioned program, a game we chose to play.
Do you think there’s a chance your dream is being kept at an arm’s distance from you just so you can discover how to love yourself and your life without the dream being there? And that once you do, it’ll be no time for it to just show up then when you’re finally ready?
Now welcome to the true Dreams Discovery Centre!
